Phew, what a HECTIC few days.



Early January saw the first stages of planning something that's been in the pipeline for a while - Indian banquet night.

I've spent every night at the cricket club for the last week or so - planning, preparing and cooking - all culminating in turning out a three course curry night for 60 people. Poppodums, bhajis, samosas, chicken tikka, chicken dansak, beef madras, vegetable curry, sag aloo, bombaye aloo, naan bread and choc ices all multiplied by 60.

Being utterly stupid and perfectionists, it turned out to be enormously hard work, but incredibly rewarding.

I now have a great big empty organisational void i need to fill. Anyone fancy a curry?
