First forray into the world of HDR.

Sun sets on 'fall' for another year.

Ever been on a canal boat holiday?

No?

Me neither.

"Seriously, how hard can squash be? It's just a ball and a wall...."

Having played a few times recently, i can confirm that the answer is "Really quite fucking tricky, actually".

Tonight i played against someone more than twice my age. He wiped the floor with me.

Sunday evening, Thatcham Tandoori - eat until you vom. Weekend complete.

Sunday 25 October 2009

Saturday 24th October 2009

End of Season Cricket Dinner - considerably more fun than Mid-Season Cricket Playing.

Elsewhere, Gary Waddock's Great Big Ginger Revolution went on tour to Devon and the blues picked up their second point in as many games. Prolific.

Friday 23rd October 2009

Autumn has a fantastic habbit of throwing up a feast of colour, making even the most mundane scenario seem briefly exciting.

Unfortunately, it also means that it's soon to be freeze-ya-fuckin'-bollocks-off time. Get your best hat and coat.

Thursday 22nd October 2009

Large parts of the day were spent in the roof, cleaning out various items of junk, including this; a suitcase. a suitcase. Sadly, there were no secret stashes of money inside, no severed limbs, but look at it - no wheels, no retractable handles and no gimmicks. Vintage.

Large parts of the day were also spent surrounded by people discussing halloween. Gash.

Tuesday 20th October 2009

Far from the best photo i'll ever take, but it was getting late and i was getting desperate. I like the way that the sky looks like Thatcham's on fire. Or just the glow of scum.

Some days this is hard.

"You can't kill the spirit" - Greenham Common Women's Peace Camp.

A very weak stone's throw from work. Have yourself a history lesson

Sunday 18th October 2009

What better way to blow away a severe case of the Sunday Blues than some late night live stuff? Oakford Social Club, Reading, with ScratchetHatchet. Tubelord and This Town Needs Guns.

Kick it.

Saturday 17th October 2009

45 days into what is rapidly becoming an endless 'project'.

Wycombe finally get a point at home and the old rivalry with the essex apes lives on. All is as it should be.

Still no hot tap - oh, mucker, where art thou?

Wednesday 14th October 2009

A winter's evening. At 5pm.

see you in six months, sun.

Tuesday 13 October 2009

Tuesday 13th October 2009

Following on from Friday's news that Hatchet Hayes had sacked off Little Petey T, Wycombe wasted no time in going over to THE HOME OF THE BRITISH ARMY and stealing Gary Waddock.

Will the man they call 'Ginger Mourinho' be able to save us from a swift return to the mainly-northern-based misery of League Two? I fucking hope so.

Monday 12th October 2009

First one of the year. Festive.

Sunday 11th October 2009

So, I've decided that I should probably begin adding 'captions' to my photos. Largely for my own benefit (what's the point of all this if i look back at the end and remember nothing?) but also so that this becomes something more than just a long list of random photos (errrm...?).

Anyway, this is used to be our hot tap. Correction - this IS our hot tap, it just used to work. It's now out of action and in five pieces. This makes washing, on these cold, dark, early mornings, a rather lively experience. Our 'plumber' assured us last week that he'd "be round in a couple a days". No sign of him. He likes to drink and insists on calling everyone 'Mucker'. I'll be surprised if he shows.
